EL BAILE DE LA ZURDA (THEATER)
Dancing is a social phenomenon that often takes place in the context of a party, whether in a bar, a popular festival or a discotheque, where the event is marked by chance and unpredictability, intertwining people and their stories.
In this creation, LaCerda sets out to investigate the vital impulse that moves every body that dances, investigating the nature of dance as movement, but also as a festive meeting place and a paradigm of collectivity, inspired by the dance marathons and musical rhythms of Latin America.
El Baile de la Zurda is a tribute to dance, to the desire to live dancing in spite of everything; a tribute also to the Latin American roots of the creators, the source of their passion for dance.
